Whether or not you celebrate Easter, it isn't hard to draw inspiration from these colorful eggs.
A little background info
The egg has been used as a symbol of the start of new life. The ancient Persians painted eggs for their New Year celebration. At the Jewish Passover Seder, a hard-boiled egg dipped in salt water symbolizes the festival offering of sacrifice.
Decorated Easter eggs are a widely popular in Russia, Romania, Ukraine, Poland and other Slavic countries' folk traditions. Many counties around the world have their own traditions of decorating eggs but perhaps the most celebrated are the jeweled Easter eggs created by Fabergé workshops for the Russian Imperial Court.
